Team

On the Team plan you can invite people to work on your projects with you. Your account is the team: you are the owner, and the people you invite are members.

Teams are part of the Team plan. A team is you plus up to 9 members, so 10 people in all. Other plans can’t add members.

If you move off the Team plan, your members keep their place but lose access to your projects. Their access comes back when you’re on Team again.

Members see all of your projects, under Shared with you on their projects page. There are no per-project permissions: a member can reach every project you own.

Members keep their own ScaleBop account. Projects they own themselves stay theirs, and you don’t see them.

  • View your projects.
  • Change Configuration: set environment values and secrets. Secret values are never shown back, to members or to you.
  • Regenerate setup and open setup pull requests.
  • Ship changes, roll back and read deployment history.
  • Share the security summary.
  • Invite and remove members.
  • Change billing and the plan.
  • Connect or change the AWS account and the deploy target.
  • Install or change the GitHub App.
  • Import new projects.
  • Delete projects and destroy a project’s database.

Members work through your GitHub App installation and your AWS account. Through ScaleBop, they can open pull requests in your repositories and deploy into your AWS account. Regenerations they run use your plan’s allowance.

Invite only people you trust with that.

API keys and MCP connections only cover projects you own. A member can’t add your projects to their own API key or MCP connection. See MCP server.

  1. Open Account → Team.
  2. Enter the person’s email address and send the invitation.

The invitation link is valid for 7 days and can be used once. Whoever signs in and accepts it joins your team. The accept page shows which address the invitation was sent to, but anyone with the link can accept it, so send it only to the right person.

  • Email didn’t arrive? Copy the link from the Team page and send it yourself.
  • Inviting the same address again replaces the earlier link.
  • Pending invitations count toward the 10 people.
  • To cancel an invitation, revoke it from the Team page.

As the owner, remove a member from Account → Team. As a member, leave from Account → Team. Either way it takes effect at once, and the member no longer sees your projects.
