Troubleshooting
When a deployment attempt fails, ScaleBop shows you which stage failed — build, deploy, publish, or health-check — plus a plain-language message and the GitHub Actions View GitHub run link. Start with the page for your stage:
| Stage shown in ScaleBop | Start here |
|---|---|
| build | Build failed |
| deploy | Deploy failed |
| deploy — the workflow could not assume an AWS role | OIDC token validation |
| deploy — the CDK bootstrap stack is missing | CDK bootstrap |
| deploy — CloudFormation failed or rolled the stack back | Stack rollback |
| publish (static sites) | Publish failed |
| health-check | Health check failed |
| custom domain not resolving | DNS propagation |
All of these pages are about your project’s generated workflow and infrastructure — the files under infra/ and .github/workflows/ in your repository. For how a deployment works end to end, see Deploying.
